Nous sommes une communauté de croyants qui cherche à comprendre la parole de Dieu en lisant la Bible et en priant le Tout-Puissant de nous ouvrir les yeux. Cette quête de la vérité évangélique remonte à 1965. En effet, un prêtre catholique donna une Bible à un responsable de chorale, René Novembre. Ce dernier se mit à étudier les Saintes Écritures et y découvrit un passage selon lequel il est interdit d’adorer les statues et les images taillées (Exode 20: 1-2). Ce fut à Aquin, une province d’Haïti, qu’un groupe de personnes, ayant compris les explications de ce chef de chorale, décida d’abandonner la chapelle Sainte-Catherine, après avoir brisé les idoles qui s’y trouvaient.
Depuis 1965, nous faisons la quête de la vérité en étudiant quotidiennement la Bible et nous y découvrons que le protestantisme et le catholicisme n’enseignent pas la doctrine du Christ : « Quiconque va plus loin et ne demeure pas dans la doctrine de Christ n’a pas Dieu.. » (2Jean v 9-10). Ce passage de la Bible ainsi que d’autres constituent pour nous des armes de combat contre les fausses doctrines enseignées par les dénominations religieuses. "
