Voici trois de multiples sujets qui ont été débattus lors de nos rencontres familiales. Les réponses et les conseils sont donnés par les participants. Ce sont des frères et soeurs qui ont vécu des moments difficiles ou heureux dans le foyer. Ils répondent aux questions selon leurs expériences maritales. Ils ne sont pas des conseillers conjugaux ou des experts en matière matrimoniale. Toutefois, les rencontrres sont animées par un frère, qui est un psychologue.
1- Comment gérer les conflits dans le foyer? (30-10-11)
Utiliser le dialogue- apprendre à présenter les excuses- ne pas élever le ton- exprimer son désaccord- ne pas faire de refoulement- rendre les oreilles sourdes- ne pas répondre aux personnes qui parlent trop (faire la sourde-oreille- déposer le sujet conflictuel- faire des concessions- reconnaître son tord- accepter sa culpabilité- se pardonner réciproquement- arrêter la discussion si l’on est en colère- ne pas dialoguer en présence des enfants- se mettre d’accord pour donner une seule réponse aux enfants- se soumettre l’un à l’autre- chercher les causes du conflit- prier Dieu avant de dialoguer sur le problème- faire un pacte conjugal- résoudre le problème avant le coucher du soleil- faire un tirage au sort pour cesser le dialogue – pas de perdant dans le foyer chrétien- oublier le moi- il faut prier beaucoup- utiliser humour dans le foyer
2- Utiliser la communication authentique dans le foyer.
Il est difficile de pratiquer la communication authentique dans le foyer, car les conjoints ont souvent tendance à cacher leurs défauts. Pour être authentique, il faut :
-dire la vérité en tout temps- avoir un franc-parler, être égale à soi-même- savoir ses limites- faire confiance à l’autre (difficile au début de faire confiance)- si on n’est pas prêt à tout dire, demander à l’autre d’attendre- ne pas juger l’autre- ne pas mentir dans le foyer (c’est une grande souffrance de vivre avec un secret dans le foyer)- la peur ne marche pas avec la communication authentique.
3- La place de la prière et de la lecture biblique dans le foyer
« Comme on parle à sa femme, on peut aussi causer avec son Dieu. »
La prière permet de rester en relation l’un avec l’autre- elle aide à résoudre les problèmes.
- résoudre le problème avant de prier- faire l’éducation des enfants par la lecture de la Bible- corriger les enfants par des versets bibliques (C’est un bon principe dans la famille : la lecture de la Bible)- faire comprendre aux enfants l’importance de la prière dans le foyer- elle nourrit l’esprit (c’est un avantage pour la maison)- elle est primordiale et elle nous protège- C’est la clef qui ouvre toutes les portes- elle concerne notre fidélité- Il est important de prier ensemble- Il faut faire des efforts pour résoudre les conflits pour pouvoir prier ensemble (les conflits constituent des obstacles à nos prières).
